Administrators at Blackpool Automotive, the former manufacturing arm of the sports car maker TVR, said last night they were "seeking to clarify the ownership of certain assets".
The firm went into administration after TVR, owned by Nikolai Smolensky, a Russian businessman, outsourced production overseas, with the Italian group Bertone tipped to take on assembly work.
The administrators, PKF (UK) LLP, said yesterday the remaining staff were made redundant on Thursday as there was no money to meet the wage bill. They said they remained optimistic about finding a buyer.
