Every week a Guardian Money reader submits a question, and it’s up to you to help him or her out – a selection of the best answers will appear in next Saturday’s paper.

This week’s question:

We have children aged two and four. We plan to hire a car in Spain in June. Our dilemma is child car seats. Bring our own? Pay to hire? Pack an inflatable booster seat? Or buy when we get there? And what size car should we get? What do other parents think?

What do you think?
